Cycle

The clues cycle: yellow-only guesses, then green-only, and round again.

Rules

Guesses alternate: yellow-only clues, then green-only, back and forth. 8 guesses.
On a yellow guess, greens show yellow. On a green guess, yellows show gray. The chip on the right says which mode you're in.
The keyboard keeps the best clue each letter has earned. 5 greens to win, just like normal wordle.
